Strands is a creative project manager built for creatives. It can be seen as a combination of all the best parts of Notion, Linear, Obsidian and Milanote fused into one.
The Website
The website is built with a 3D strand to fit the theme, that is also interactive and wiggles when you move your mouse and plays a dynamic synthy-guitar sound. Because the app is still a work in progress, this is currently only the waitlist portion of the site.
The UI Library
I built a UI component library and design system from scratch with all the elements needed for this project, and can be re-used in future projects.
The Desktop App
The desktop app is still a WIP, but includes project management, task management, custom types acting as inheritance, templates, tags, custom whiteboards, Kanban boards, comments and more.
The Mobile App
The mobile app and the desktop app both use the Strands UI library I built, ensuring the styling is consistent and reducing the development time.
